I’m Just Sayin’

i am sympathetic to the plight of the homeless (particularly after enduring multiple evictions), so i was impressed to see that my old home down under is donating $100,000 to help.

to raise awareness, mission australia set up some 250 cardboard boxes on sydney’s bondi beach – a guerrilla marketing mistake? after seeing these images, i want to know where i sign up to be homeless in sydney.

i’m just sayin’, it seems frivolous to spend more than half of my income for views of the cerulean waters of the east river when i could be gazing at this for free.

I feel a duty to warn all those fresh faced non-new yorkers: moving to this city will cause you to:
1. get evicted multiple times without cause.
2. lose life or limb by friendly commuters dive-bombing on to the L train on weekday mornings.
3. dye your hair black and become more generally cantankerous.

A friend of mine summed it up: came as Barbie and left as Emily.
